As we informed you previously, PO started selling personalized videos this Summer. This gave them the ability to identify who every video uploaded to the site was originally sold to.

This has since led to a wave of bans of customer accounts from PO store. Naturally, this made procuring new PO content more difficult for us, due to some of our usual suppliers no longer available. We had to adapt to this situation by increasing the values of the bounties offered tremendously - up to 250% of the producer's price!

Last week, PO additionally announced that they're closing registrations of new accounts entirely, and will reopen it only when "unauthorized distribution" stops.

Since PO has been in very high demand at PissRIP for years now, it stands to reason we will continue offering it. So in practice, this means registrations at PO are closed indefinitely - and (with the impact on sales in mind) the countdown to the studio's closure has just begun.

Although we reaffirm our commitment to delivering new PO content to you, we must also ensure this remains economically viable for us, with the increased procurement costs and complications in mind. Therefore, we have made a difficult decision to increase our pricing for PO to 50% of the producer's prices, up from our usual 30%, which we normally always strive to meet.

We will keep you updated as the situation develops and will be happy to lower the prices back should the content availability improve in the future.
